Twelve Eighty Eight

Talk about upside down. 88 percent of the population is made up of all ethnic groups except Blacks.

Yet it is the 12 percent that is pushing a narrative to everyone that they are completely and utterly oppressed since 1619. They claim everything not devoted to their benefit is racist.

They say all white people are supremacists and have kept the black communities down for over 400 years. Any hint of history that touches upon the black buttons needs to be erased, eradicated, and destroyed.

How in the world did this get so out of control?

For years, the left (read radicals) have been perfecting their activism. Each and every time they reacted to an incident they became bolder and bolder in demands, actions and yes violence. Black Lives Matter was in the streets with “What do we want, Dead Cops. When do we want them NOW”, “Roast them like bacon”, “Fuck the Pigs” in response to Ferguson. The “Hands Up, Don’t Shoot” became the chant. Even members of Congress infamously repeated the lie and stood in the well of the House with their hands raised. So here comes the death of George Floyd. Never mind that the whole country was appalled and saw it as murder at the hands of very bad police. It was the exact event the plans were waiting for to launch the juggernaut.

Minneapolis became the focal point. The video of Officer Derek Chauvin kneeling on the neck of George Floyd was the gasoline that fueled the anger and rage. Protesters were on the street immediately. Unfortunately, their message was hijacked just as quickly. Looting and rioting broke out. Cities across the country and even internationally ignited in similar events. Protests followed by violence. Police came under attack at every turn.

Soon thereafter symbols, structures and statues that were deemed offensive became targets of defacing, desecrating and destruction. The mob mentality overran their intellect as they attacked memorials to abolitionists, even the emancipation monument that was commissioned and paid for by freed slaves. Suddenly religious icons were burned, toppled and horrifically disrespected. Jesus and his Mother, Mary were labeled as white supremacists. The world went mad.

Systematic racism became the cause celeb, with little data to support the outrageous claims. Police were accused of killing black people in wholesale numbers. Politicians bought into the rhetoric. Many layers of government backed the cry to defund police departments and hamstring their ability to do their job by passing restrictions on what they could and could not do to enforce the law. Then came CHAZ or CHOP, which ever you prefer. A whole section of a major city was occupied, labeled as an autonomous zone and went as far as refusing police access. The mayor irrationally called the situation a “Summer of Love”. Thankfully, that ended when the inhabitants could no longer live Woodstock 2.0 and crime became prevalent inside their Shangri La.

Black Lives Matter was painted on streets in letters twenty feet tall and were called murals by the elected officials who gave the approval. Black Lives Matter became a battle cry. Major corporations were cowed into making huge contributions to the BLM organization as well as issuing statements that further promoted the idea that America was racist at the core and needed fixing.

Lost on most people was the ability to identify the reality. What we are witnessing, and living, is an attempt to bring down the republic and install Marxist practices and agendas. The media and leftwing politicians exacerbate the damage by blindly repeating the rhetoric, ignoring reality, discarding history and just simply backing the upheaval.

This is a David and Goliath moment. Biblically David stood for right and attacked the giant who was the enemy. The current David is dedicated to bringing down the Goliath they see as standing in their way of holding America hostage as they reap what they claim is their right. By trumpeting their victimhood, by playing the white privilege card, by resorting to looting, rioting and burning they are effectively keeping their knee on the neck of the rest of the country.

We are facing a turning point that has very little to do with black or white. The fight is for America. The country founded as a great experiment in government. The fight is for We The People. Our historical blemishes are being used as the reason to kill the republic and replace it with something far worse. The United States has been on a course of perpetual improvement. Wrongs have been identified and remedies offered. This is ignored because it does not support their narrative.

Petulant children, stamp their feet, fall on the floor and whale until they get what they want. It is a wise parent the controls the situation, sits the child down and explains the downside to their behavior. Listening to their complaints can only follow that.

Do not be fooled, what you are living is history. The outcome is up to you.

If you value your freedoms, if you value the foundation of our country, if you are proud of America being a beacon of democracy to the world now is the time for you to steel your spine, stand up straight and call out the revolution that is being brought against us. It is up to you to make sure our way of life continues. There is no more important fight today.
