Pay attention you will be hearing more and more from this outfit. If you have been asleep since the election, since the inauguration or everyday since then the Organizing For America is a Barack Obama effort to continue his "fundamental change" of America.
Not only is it a lobbying effort, it is a recruiting, it is a school and training ground for what Obama does best. Community organizing but this time on the national stage. If you thought he was done you were sadly mistaken. Your first clue should have been when he decided to live in Washington DC and not move back to Chicago. On the surface who could blame him because Chicago is so crime ridden and falling down around itself by the weight of the progressive governance of his friend Mayor Rahm Emanuel. The sole purpose of remaining in DC after leaving the White House is to keep close contact with his leftist activists. He was and still is their leader. He is their guru. He is helping them stay on track with resistance, dissent and disruption tactics. He is writing the new chapters for their play book.
All of this is being orchestrated from the new OFA House at 2446 Belmont Road in the toney Kalorama neighborhood.
OFA is subversive in a totally new way. Perpetual attacks on each and every Trump policy, effort, law, appointment in the new administration. Civility, truth, support and sophisticated behavior means nothing in this new paradigm. The instructions to protesters attending Town Hall during the Presidents Week Congressional break were recently published. The objective was not to be heard but to shout down any Congressman or Senators meeting. Their success was widely reported by media. As usual the purpose and predetermined goals of the anarchists was hardly mentioned.
Before he left office Obama installed what is now being called a shadow government within the various departments and offices of the government. Many last minute reassignments placed loyalists in positions where they are a bit more insulated from dismissal. The outrageous leaks, disclosures and accusations that are coming out almost daily have been planted and held for use as needed to disrupt any advances in undoing the progressive policies and orders of the Obama administration. A clear example has just been played out. President Trump made an address to the joint houses of Congress that was widely well received across the country. The very next day Democrats began beating the drums of resignation of DOJ Secretary Sessions over alleged failure to disclose meeting a Russian Ambassador while in his official Senate role.
The over the top rhetoric from the likes of Senator Schumer, Senator Elizabeth Warren, House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi and other Dems was deafening to the exclusion of any real news of the day. Jeff Sessions, in my view mistakenly, to quiel the noise decided to recuse himself in any matters to do with the campaign and the Russians. Score one for Obama and company Trump got out flanked.
Obama sees his opportunity to have a real impact in the early days of the new administration and is leveraging the fledgling White House missteps. He knows that as time goes by his impact will less because Team Trump will be more skilled in managing their attacks.
The United States of America is a very sad place because to the subversives that abound on Belmont Road. It is not a loyal opposition but an opposing army made up of myopic leftists, anarchists and thoughtless rabble rousers. The good of the country and its people has been discarded entirely. These people have no shame and are about to take us to the brink.
