Brittany M. Hughes posted an article entitled, “Clergy Advocacy Board Says Planned Parenthood is “Doing God’s Work” on the CNSNews.com feed relating to a statement that was issued by the abortion giant.
First off, I want to know who these people are. The fact that Planned Parenthood actually thinks anyone will believe that they have a “Clergy Board” is preposterous. And if they do are they merely paid mouthpieces that bend to the will of there corporate masters? The statement was careful to not identify the speaker(s) of the quotes in the snippets that follow or who signed the statement.
In the statement released Tuesday, Planned Parenthood's clergy board -- described as a “network of clergy members from a variety of denominations throughout the religious community” -- described the recent undercover videos as nothing more than a “smear campaign” that “use[s] fraudulent and extreme tactics to spread false allegations about Planned Parenthood’s role in tissue donation.”
“As faith leaders committed to justice, honesty, and liberty, we are troubled by the decades-long campaign of harassment against Planned Parenthood and those they serve,” the statement read. With audacity they go on to claim that the abortion giant is simply “doing God’s work.” In what world are these hypocrites walking. Statements like these are done in such a way that they are merely put out there with no opportunity to challenge them or the speaker. In this case there is no attribution of the quote other than “the board”.
Going on - “Planned Parenthood does the best of what religious traditions do: care, no matter what.” Doesn’t that just skip over the major obstacle to the statement? “Thou shall not kill”.
The statement continued, accusing the video producers of “attacking organizations us[ing] fraudulent and extreme tactics to spread false allegations.” What truly is extreme is the process described and the comments made on the films. Now that the barbarism of the Planned Parenthood operation has been exposed they want to cry foul. If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen.
Amazingly they just could not stop with such off the wall utterances, the videos -- not the dismembered babies were labeled as -- “theologically and morally reprehensible.”
“The scriptures of Judaism, Christianity, and Islam strongly and repeatedly condemn dishonesty and hate,” the statement went on. Again did they conveniently forget that simple little commandment “Thou shall not kill’.
I do realize that over 500 Million dollars is something folks would fit for and that a very well paid PR firm has been brought in to spread the gospel according to Planned Parenthood but if this is the best they can do they are doomed.
The perversion of God’s word is one thing but invoking his continence on their barbaric procedures and the resultant harvesting of bits and pieces of the preborn babies that they have just killed is something that they will have to answer for. God’s mercy is everlasting but so can his wrath be.
Otherwise intelligent people have made themselves believe the hyperbole of Planned Parenthood touting themselves and what they do as a major provider of health care for women. In fact, there are hundreds more other organizations that do just that without performing abortions. Planned Parenthood performs 330,000 abortion which equals 40% of the abortions in the United States. Abortion is their money maker and the videos expose how they are doubling down on the money making opportunities by selling baby parts.
Couch it anyway you want, the arguments in support of Margaret Sangers’ successors have never and will never hold any water. As much as the progressive movement values the abortion issue as an entitlement it is being brought into the spotlight for what it has always been – barbaric. Like all movements before it – Marxism- Fascism - Communism- and yes even socialism have failed when seen in the light of day. Facts cannot be spun perpetually. The truth will out. Trying to hide behind faith and God will only hasten the fall.
